Registration opens for the FairCarboN 2025 Annual Conference

From 3 to 6 November 2025, the annual conference of the FairCarboN national research programme (PEPR) for the study of carbon in continental ecosystems will be held.

The aim of these days is to bring together the PEPR scientific community in a warm and welcoming venue to encourage collaboration between participants. The event will take place in Le Croisic at the Port aux Rocs estate.

Accommodation and meals will be provided by the FairCarboN programme.

Rooms will be shared. You can indicate on the registration form the name of the person with whom you would like to share your room.

If you prefer individual accommodation, you will find below a list of hotels located close to the event venue. Hotels 1km to 3km from the venue in Le Croizic : Les Venetes / L'Estacade / Le fin gourmet

Participation in this year's event is free. By registering, you commit yourself to coming: each participation implies the reservation of meals and accommodation, and an unannounced or last-minute absence will have a real logistical, ecological and human impact. So we're counting on your sense of responsibility!

Provisional programme
Monday 3 November

  •      Welcome (from 5pm)

Tuesday 4th November

  • Speech by Martial Bernoux (FAO) (to be confirmed)
  • Project presentations on the themes of Axes 1 and 3: Source, transfer, transformation and storage of carbon along the land-coastal zone-atmosphere continuum / Development of the production and use of plant biomass
  • Keynote by an SAB member
  • Poster session

Wednesday 5th November

  • Morning session on the estimation of GHG flux stocks by stakeholders (what is currently being done? what are the avenues for improvement? for what issues?)
  • Presentation of current international projects
  • Keynote address by FairCarboN Axes 2 and 4 projects: Coupling of biogeochemical cycles in a context of global change / Drivers and impacts of change and transition
  • Poster session
  • Evening session Workshops

 Thursday 6th November

  •  Workshops
  •  General presentation of FairCarboN activities
  •  Conclusion of the days and feedback from the SAB
  •  Field visit
